He was predeceased by: his parents, John Szostek and Jean Danielczuk Szostek; and his brothers, Edward C. Szostek and John Szostek. He is survived by: his wife Jodi Peck Szostek; his children, Courtney Szostek of Ansonia, Sarah J. Szostek of New Haven and Joshua Szostek of West Haven; his sisters, Irene Hudak of Shelton, Bernice Bergeron (Fred) of Beacon Falls, Sandra O'Bidinski of Seymour, Pamela Killianey of Seymour and Teri Reilly (Donald) of Prospect; and his granddaughter Katherine Marrow of Ansonia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
