She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Newman and Anna Mae Cotter Newman. She is survived by: her husband Raymond M. Simmons Jr.; her daughter Trisha Massaro (Joseph) of Ansonia; her grandchildren, Jenna Simmons, Kendra Spencer-Massaro and Rian Massaro; her uncle Donald Shean; her brothers-in-law, Michael Simmons and Carl Simmons (Rita); her nieces, Stephanie Brennan and Amanda Boulay; and her pet Bandit.
