Charles Marrone Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Marrone Sr. of Ansonia, Connecticut, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa V. Marrone (Kalson); his parents, Gaetano Marrone and Antonina Marrone (Palumbo); his sister Marie Botti; and his granddaughter Carly.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa H. Godfrey (Peter Perri) of Ansonia and Charles Marrone Jr. of Ansonia; his brother Anthony Marrone of Shelton; his grandchildren, Kimberleigh Higgins-Valovich (Michael Valovich) of Trumbull, Andrew Godfrey (Sophia Russell) and Jennifer Godfrey (Brent Alcantara); his great grandchild Chloe Higgins-Valovich of Trumbull; and his niece Barbara Ford (Thomas Palmieri).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Ansonia (44 S Cliff St, Ansonia, CT 06401).
