He was predeceased by: his spouse Phyllis Edwards Thatcher; his daughter Karen Thatcher; his brothers, Robert Thatcher and Richard Thatcher; and his parents, Robert Thatcher and Dorothy Wilcott Thatcher.
He is survived by: his child Mark Thatcher (Michelle) of Andover; and his sibling Nancy Reynolds of Tennessee.
