It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Soucy Sr. (Andover, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 29, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert J. and Elizabeth; his son-in-law Richy Nieves; and his siblings, Harold Soucy and Betty Ann Milbrandt.
He is survived by: his wife Joaneen Meli; his children, Julie (Patrick Hurley) of Southridge, MA, Karen Nieves of Colchester, Gilbert Soucy, Jr. of Andover and Daniel (Jennifer) of Mansfield; his brother Sandy (Judy Soucy); his sister-in-law Kan; his grandmother Soucy; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Amanda, Justin, Alexis, Devon, Charleigh, Jeffrey, Adam and Lucas; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
