He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gallagher and Helen [Seipp] Gallagher; his daughter Juliana Marie; his wife Betty Lou Aagesen of John's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Anthony, Daniel, Joseph, Emmanuel, Cletus, Winnafred, James, Charles and Bernard.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Patrick and Catherine Hoffman; his daughter-in-law Carin Gallagher; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Nicholas, Mikel, David, Jacob, Patricia, Felicia and Nicholis. He is also survived by his 11 great grandchildren.
