He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Lydia; and his brother Ron. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Alan; his daughter-in-law Shelly; his daughter Debra; his son-in-law Jim Stauffer; and his grandchildren, Joel Stauffer, Trey Pappenheim, Michelle Stauffer and Tori Pappenheim.
Given Rich's strong support of Yuma athletics the family is asking that donations be made in his honor to the Yuma Indian Booster Club, PO Box 444, Yuma, CO 80759.
