He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bernhardt and Alvina Marie Bernhardt; and his brothers, Bob Bernhardt and Jim Bernhardt. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bernhardt of Yuma, CO; his children, Lorie Leonhardt (Greg) of Yuma, CO and Rod Bernhardt (Denise) of Otis, CO; and his stepsister Kathy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.
