He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinard Janssen and Francis Janssen; his wife Sylvia Ann McKinney; his children, Cathy Bloyer and Grant Janssen; and his great grandchild Anna Marie Skinner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Cranston (Greg) of Yuma and Marsha Belt of Aurora; his son-in-law Dick Bloyer (Kay) of Odebolt Iowa; and his siblings, Marvin Janssen, Nera Zimmer and Wanda Bulten. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
