Leon Gene Kautz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Gene Kautz in Yuma, Colorado, who passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Kautz and Pauline Kautz. He is survived by: his pet Nette; his daughters, Sherry Ruder (Joe), Jackie Hill (Gab) and Julie August (Roger); his grandsons, Jake, Ty Kautz (Celia), Matt Ruder (Jamie), Taylor Ruder (Kaitlin), Trent Ruder (Lauren), Dale August (Grace) and Gary August (Krisa); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Hill (Erin), Brianna Kastner (Matt), Kasey Hill (Lauren) and Liz Gardocki; his sister Wanda Erosky (Bob); his son Marty; his grandson Nicholas Ruder; and his brother Carl Kautz. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
