He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hansen and Jennie Irene Hansen (Aydelott); his in-laws, Clatus and Ruth Meis (Tyson); his siblings, LaVern, Jerry, Bob Hansen and Verna Mae Miller (Lorna Frick); his in-laws, Reinold Frick, Johnnie Beth Hansen, Elmer Miller, Harold Aagesen (Sonny), Jean Hansen, Kathleen Meis, Cecilia Lester (Meis) and Max Metzler; and his nieces, Crystal Metzler and Shelle Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Meis; his sons, Curtis (Jodi), Andy, Trent and Ryan (Megan); his grandchildren, Jaden, Kayte (Devin Nielsen), Noah, Tyson, Kaydence, Riha Jo, Chase Moellering (Paige) and Kaci Perry (Jordan); his great grandchild Myla June Nielsen; his siblings, Max (Marty), Eunice Beechley (Ron), Beaulah Aagesen and Donna Pletcher (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Taylor (Nelson), Christine Metzler, Julie Meis, Terri Hansen and Clayton Meis (Peggy).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yuma Cemetery. A reception will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (1101 S Albany St, Yuma, CO 80759).
