It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar F. Haake Jr. of Wray, Colorado, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Arleen (Mazell); his nieces, Denise and Andrea; his stepdaughter Marie; and his nephews, Dennis and Eric.
He is survived by: his former spouse Mazell Kramer; his sons, Bradley Oscar (Julie) of Holyoke and Mark Kramer (Mildred) of Wiggins; his wife Ruth Wagner; his siblings, Darlene Lee (Harley) of Greeley and Ron (Margie) of Fort Lupton; his children, Marla Rock (Brad) of Wray, Sandy Wagner (Bill), Getz of Alamosa and Rick Wagner (Sue) of Fort Collins; and his grandchildren, Anita Lengfelder (Chas), Barbara Hinderer (Darren), Matt Haake, Jessilyn Bugbee (Weston), Tessa Haake, Alex Rock (Audrey), Amanda Kerbs (Michael), Kate Wagner, Jayne Wagner (David) and Maleesa Foreside (Brandon). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Although Oscar never contracted COVID, the isolation that occurred as a result of the pandemic did take a toll on both him and Ruth.
