He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Bliven and Geraldine Bliven; his son Rhett Bliven; and his siblings, Patty Newton and Don "Mort" Bliven.
He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Burchardi (Shannon) and Kara Trudgeon (Matt); his siblings, Bill, Joe, Jack, Ronn, Tom Bliven (Ruby) and Carol Simmons (Jim); and his sister-in-law Diane Bliven. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
