She was predeceased by: her parents, E. T. Spellman (Bud) and Lois B. Spellman (Richards); her husband Clifford L. Schmidt; her parents-in-law, Otto and Mable Schmidt; her great grandchild Jerry Schmidt; her brother Bob (Patty Spellman); and her siblings-in-law, Otto T. Schmidt (Thelma), Chuck Schmidt, Bill Schmidt, Cleo Brown and Sharon Spellman.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Schmidt (Brenda) of Wray, CO and Lois Gonzalez of Wenatchee, WA; her grandchildren, Jason, Jennie Schmidt of Wray, CO, Ryan, Amy Schmidt of Wray, CO, Erika, Michael Remus of Ft. Collins, CO, David, Angela Gonzalez of Rock Island, WA and Mikey Gonzalez of Wenatchee, WA.; her great grandchildren, Allen, Dillon, Rosie Schmidt, Matthew, Sarah Schmidt, Nina, Malia, Isaac Gonzalez and Kai Studeman; her siblings, George Spellman (Lois) of Kirk, CO, Ralph Spellman (LeAnn) of Yuma, CO, Jennie Brown of Yuma, CO, Minnie Schmidt of Haxtun, CO, Tom Spellman (Margaret) of Yuma, CO and Peggy Spellman of Wray, CO; and her sister-in-law Carol Schmidt of Holyoke, CO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
