He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara Lohman; his parents, Fredrick Schauer and Mary Schauer; and his siblings, Herbert, Gus, Lawrence, Pauline and Ester.
He is survived by: his children, Debbra Sue, Michael David and Mike (Jerri); his grandchildren, Scott, Brianne, Abbey and Lucas; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline and Gloria. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
