She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ahern and Blanche Ahern; her siblings, Mary Ann Wilkens and James Ahern (Jimmy); and her nephews, Roger and Melvin Jr. A.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Hakala of Colorado Springs; and her grandchildren, Aimee Selix (Jim), Ethan, Lukas, James Hakala (Lauren), Ella and Cash.
