She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Knight and Fern Knight (Battey); and her sisters, Karen and Ginger. She is survived by: her husband Lieutenant Robert Rufe (U. S. Navy); her children, Karen (Joe) and Mike (Tia); her grandchildren, Hannah and Zack (Tricia); and her great grandchildren, Adira and Thea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
