She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Miller and Ellen Miller. She is survived by: her husband Robert Kinne; and her siblings, Teresa Barker, Susan Orozco (Nick), Stacie Miller Stocks (Mark) and Michael (Nancy).
Donations in Valerie's memory can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation which is working to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. Also, the Gabriel Foundation which is an avicultural exotic welfare organization which provides a sanctuary and adoption center for exotic birds.
