He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brandt; his children, Greg Sharp (Lori) of Greeley, Brad Sharp (Karen) of Boston, Ryan Mertens (Robin) of Pueblo West and Allison Summers (Carson) of Windsor; his grandchildren, Sydney, Katrina, Alice, Annabelle, Cameron, Natalie, Margot, Mason, Jackson and Hudson; and his siblings, Ruth Fritz (Lee) of Greeley, Paul Mertens (Ann) of New Raymer, John Mertens (Lorraine) of Brush and Jim Mertens (Danelle) of New Raymer. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
