It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ackerson Heldt of Windsor, Colorado, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Heldt and Ruth Heldt (Engnel); his significant other Patricia Fairbanks; his former wife Bernice Leinweber; and his sisters, Vivian Dedman and Janet Phinney.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Rae Marcy (Gordon) and David Heldt (Lee Ann); his siblings, Bill Heldt (Edris) and Betty Spencer (Bill); and his grandchildren, Amanda Hartshorn, Laura Patterson, Lisa Maxwell, Shara Marcy, Michelle Hendrick and Jonathan Marcy. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

He also was proud of donating blood.
