He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary M "Peg" Grothe and Van Kelsey Carlson. He is survived by: his son Liam Carlson; his wife Kacy; his sister-in-law Mary (Van); his nephew Max; his niece Ruby; and his cousins, Cammie Gabel, Julie Brand Zaloudek and Dana Counter. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
