She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Alcon and Louisa Alcon (Romero); her husband Lyle Garcia; her son Lyle Garcia Jr.; her siblings, Ernest Alcon, Vangy Cruz, Becky Romero and Bertha Lucero; and her goddaughter Payton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Tellez and Valarie Simms; her grandchildren, Vanessa Nunez (Cruz), Katelyn Tellez, Christopher Tellez (Makenna), Leon Garcia (Andrea), Tyler Simms (Brenda), Dustin Stewart and Zack Simms (Kristin); and her siblings, Hazel Madeon and Bobby Alcon.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (2515 W 16th St, Greeley, CO 80634). A reception was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
