He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Kent and Martha Kent (Schaefer); his grandson Christian James Stephenson; and his brother Loren Kent. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kent (Henneck) of Eaton; his daughters, Tammie McKinney (Zeb) and Jennifer Kent (Jeff Kurtz); and his grandchildren, Tia Kent, Amelia Stephenson, Race Stephenson, Lucy and Jonny James Kurtz.
