He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Barbara Newell; his daughter, Sharon Newell, his sons, Paul Newell and Steve Newell (Ana); his grandchildren, Steven Newell, Stephanie Villavaso (Evan), Mackenzie and Jensen Newell; his step-children, Dan Meissner (Colleen), Rob Meissner (Amy) and Shelli Calkins (Ryan); his step-grandchildren, Abigail, Dylan, Spencer and Cade; and his niece Carol Ann Joplin-Jack.
