He was predeceased by: his wife Marth Ann Nelson; his parents, Andrew Nelson and Bodil Nelson; and his siblings, Henning Lungren, Ruth Locke and Betty Twait.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Case (Andrew) and Cindy McQueen (Keith); his stepdaughter Diana Grosz; and his brothers, Fritz Nelson (Norma), William Nelson (Marylou), Stanley Nelson (Peggy) and Roger Nelson.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mark's Funeral Home (9293 Eastman Park Dr, Windsor, CO 80550).
Memorial donations may be made to the Weld Food Bank (1108 H Street Greeley, CO 80631) in Carroll's honor.
