He was predeceased by: his father David Alan Rideout. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Rideout (Hopkins); his wife Joyce Rideout; his children, Roland Rideout of Fort Collins, CO, Victoria Autler (Brian) of Fort Collins, CO and Brittinie Rideout of Lamar, CO; his grandchildren, David, Misty, Wyatt, Elliana and Mia; and his siblings, Thomas Rideout (Lois), Callie Ellis and Denise Justice (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Peter Rideout Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
