With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gideon Semmens of Wiley, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Semmens and Margaret Semmens (Pagan); his wife Mary Lou Semmens; his siblings, Alma Belle McCall (Eugene McCall) and Laurence Semmens; his nephew Glenn McCall; his parents-in-law, Robey and Myrtle Davis; and his brother-in-law Bob Davis (Margaret).
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Semmens (Sheila) of Wiley, CO and Brad Semmens of Wiley, CO; his grandchildren, Kevin Semmens (Whitney) of Windsor, CO, Matt Semmens (Lindsey) of Greeley, CO and Brandee Martin (Brandon) of Severance, CO; his great grandchildren, Cohen Pirkle, Kinsley Semmens, Carter Martin, Charlee Martin, Olivia Semmens and Jackson Semmens; his nephew Gary McCall (Lily); his niece-in-law Karen McCall of Walsh, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Mildred Sharp (Leo) and Janet Lawrence (Art). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
