He is survived by: his wife Arlee Visser; his children, Machelle Nye (Troy) of Sandpoint, Chet Nelson (Kayleen) of Fulshear, Marcie Hampton (Steven) of San Angelo, Chris Nelson (Kim) of Liberty Hill and Maren Wagner (Marcus) of Palisade, Colorado.; his grandchildren, Stephanie Morrison (Olan), Malia, Luke, Bryce, Gerrit, Graeme Nelson, Austin, Taylor, Tyler Hampton, Matthew Martinez, Riley, Cooper Bryan, Boden Smith, Brett and Hunter Wagner; and his siblings, Jim, Arlo Nelson and Connie Hawes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
