He was predeceased by: his parent Juanita Meza; his siblings-in-law, Salvador Alfaro and Angela Alfaro; and his brothers, Manuel Rivas and Enrique Alfaro.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Lourdes Alfaro of Flores; and his children, Elsa Quinones (Meliton), Claudia Flores (Marcelo Anzurez), Angelica Arguijo, Carmen Salazar, Ramon Flores (Dorothy), Eric Flores and Jorge Flores. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
