He is survived by: his wife Akiko Burkhart; his children, Diana Andersen (Jay) and Eddie Burkhart (Christina); his grandchildren, Marissa Strum (Drew), Lindsey Gunther (John), Kyle Andersen, Kristin Eyl, Brittany Lama (Eric) and Brandon Burkhart; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Payton, Aubri, Kinley, Tristan and Emery. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
