He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl R. Whittemore and Verla Keith Whittemore; his wife Giselle; and his brothers, Donald D. Whittemore and Robert R. Whittemore.
He is survived by: his close friend Anna Darmody; his children, Michelle Stuart (Robert), Michael Whittemore (Diana Riley), Mariane Whittemore and Stephanie Whittemore; his grandchildren, Amber Whittemore (Yeong Ho Youm) and Creighten Chambers; and his siblings, David Whittemore (Jan), Marjorie Whitley and Judy Hussman.
