It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard William Doucet Sr. (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Doucet and Rose Anne Aucoin; his wife Eleanor Ruth Verow; his son Christopher; and his siblings, Rosemary and Joseph.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, JoAnn and Julia; his children, Richard Jr. of Carmel and Kathy Legere (James) of Georgetown; his daughter-in-law Dawn of Sanford; and his sister Jo'An Haines of Bangor. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
