She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Spickelmier and Julia Spickelmier; her husband James Shildmyer; her daughters, Cynthia Firnhaber (Kurt), Sandra Padmanabhan (Hari) and Kathleen O'Leary (Joseph); her grandchildren, Rachel Brown (Adam), Maria Banda, Nyasha Williams (Keegan), Chenna Padmanabhan (Radhika), Tendai Firnhaber, Portia Firnhaber, Michael O'Leary, Matthew O'Leary, Koketso Firnhaber and Grace Banda; her niece Elaine Oursler; her nephew David Shildmyer; and her close friend Madelyn Raska.
