He was predeceased by: his father Frank Stankiewicz. He is survived by: his daughter Ellie Stankiewicz; his mother Denise Oney; his former wife Mary Stankiewicz; his stepsons, Max and Ben Hertel; his sister Melissa; his brother-in-law Jay Yniguez; and his niece Evelynn Yniguez. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in his honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
