She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Mitchell and Amelia Mitchell (Schumann) of Benedict's Hospital; her husband Larry; her brother Gerald "Mitch" Mitchell; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Rose, Jerry Lybarger, Col. R. C. "Bob" Lybarger, Deacon Warren Lybarger and Carter Lybarger.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Lynn Mitchell (Stephen) of Arvada and Larry Mark Lybarger (Kathy) of Grand Junction, Colorado; her grandchildren, Sara Lohmeyer (Nate) of Denver, Robert Lybarger (Heather) of New York and Collin Lybarger (Amanda) of Salem, Oregon; her great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie Lohmeyer and Landon Lybarger; her sister Geri Rose (Mitchell) of Sterling; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Mitchell of Alliance, NE and Elaine Giesler (Lybarger) of Lake Havasu, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chaney-Reager Funeral Home and Crematory (443 S 2nd St, Sterling, CO 80751). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the 1st Presbyterian Church (130 S 4th St, Sterling, CO 80751). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (18611 US-6, Sterling, CO 80751).
