She was predeceased by: her son Manuel (Mary Chavez); her son-in-law Ernie Giron; her siblings, Jimmy, Helen Trujillo, Pauline, Pete Toribio, Marcos and George Garcia; and her grandson Michael Tagert.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Spiering (Jerry), Norma Giron, Marcus Chavez (Sharon), Catherine Maestas and Geri Chavez; and her siblings, Geneveve Valderrama, Irene Ramos (Pete) and Dave Garcia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
By her request only bright colors of apparel should be worn to her services and she preferred live plants in lieu of flowers.
