She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Karel and Emma Karel. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Went (Willard), Sandra Doerr (Joe), Judy Miller (Dennis) and Tony Kratochvil (Kim); her grandchildren, Tammi Groteluschen (Merlin), Tricia Mullenhoff (Richard), Todd Went (June), Trudi Lappe (Dustin), Chris Doerr (Elizabeth), Heidi Holderman, Kelly Rogney, Willy Doerr (Jaime), Lori Geist (Stacy), Brad Miller, Dustin Kratochvil and Jeremy Kratochvil; her husband Clyde Kratochvil; her siblings, Frank Karel, Joe Karel, Milo Karel, Jerry Karel, Stanley Karel, Libbie Hockameier and Adeline Sedlacek; and her great grandchild Taylor Went. She is also survived by 21 great- grandchildren, 19 great-great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Emily's name.
