Edward R. Vigil Obituary
“Papa” Edward Vigil (76) passed away on Thursday afternoon, December 17th 2020, at Good Samaritan Medical Center surrounded by those he loved. His memory lives on through his beloved wife of 57 years, Darlene Vigil; their four beautiful daughters; five grandsons; seven great-grandchildren and countless other family and friends.
Eddie was a man unlike any other. He had a charm that made him friends everywhere he went and he left an impression on everyone who met him. He liked to pull pranks, tell dirty jokes and bring a smile to everyone in the room. He loved pressing his luck at Central City, race car driving at Bandimere Speedway, and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. But above all, he loved his family.
He was so loved by so many that the Vigil family has chosen to postpone the funeral services until a later date in the summer to allow for the biggest possible celebration of the life that Ed lived.
