He was predeceased by: his daughter Theresa Mondragon; his parents, Joe Gutierrez and Josephine Gutierrez; and his siblings, Virginia, Lizzy and Adolph.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Gutierrez; his children, Danny Gutierrez, Rita Lucero (Mike), Anna Gutierrez, Ruben Gutierrez (Lavern), Francis Gutierrez and Elaine Montoya (Tony); his great grandchildren, Michael (Natalia), Eric, Mariah (Justin), Julian (Emmy), Isaac, Donovan, Savannah, Anthony, Sierra, Arianna, Mikey, Océana, Joseph and Aria; and his sisters, Ruby Rodriguez and Patty Gutierrez. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
