She was predeceased by: her parents, Fiore Lombardi and Maria Lombardi. She is survived by: her sister Amelia Salvato; and her children, Christine Everson (Eric), James Polson (Debbie), Carla Rigli (Keith), Mark Polson (Tara) and Marla Zubrinic (John). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Northwest (7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (4200 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Avalina's memory.
