He was predeceased by: his father Robert Troop (Connie); and his in-law Joe Bryan Stewart (Betty). He is survived by: his wife JoNell Kathleen Troop; his daughter Shannon Williams (Drew); his grandchildren, Gavin and Harper; his siblings, Rick Troop (Penny) and Cynthia Montoya (Michael); and his brother-in-law Bryan Stewart (Robin).
