We bid farewell to Donna Coleen Basile of Westminster, Colorado, born in Sibley, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2025 at the age of 72. Donna Coleen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Anno Loetscher and Charnell Lucille Loetscher; and her brother Duane E. Loetscher. She is survived by: her son Gregory Prescott Basile of Severn, Maryland; her aunt Barbara P. Blau; her siblings, Dennis W. Loetscher and Doreen L. Hatting; her nieces and nephews, Michelle R. Loetscher, Christina J. Whetstone, Rachel M. Loetscher, Edward F. Loetscher, Christopher N. Loetscher, Emily C. Ector and Amanda L. Ball; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail G. Whetstone, Eric F. Loetscher, Tyler M. Loetscher, Ahlyssa A. Loetscher, Cameron C. Ector, Robyn F. Ector, Samuel L. Ball and Sadie N. Ball. She is also survived by her nieces' and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church (7530 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
Each year, Donna hit the streets with vigor and passion, bringing back corporate donations to benefit the organization's annual silent auction, luncheon, and fashion show. She also made personal donations to the auction, taking great care to assemble little boy and little girl baskets, full of toys and learning aids, that sold for well over what she put into them.
