With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Fenton Reed (Westminster, Colorado), born in Omaha, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lowell Reed and Lois Reed; his wife Barbara Blakeman Reed; his children, Tiffany Silverman (Josh), Kristin McCracken (Sean) and Trevor Reed (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jackson, Gabe, Riley Silverman, Blake, Bella McCracken, Ellie and Hudson Reed; his brother-in-law Richard Blakeman; and his nephews, Tyler Newby (Canace) and Nate Newby (Sterling).
The military honors will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests his memory be honored through donations in his name to the Fisher House Foundation in support of military families.
