Robert Blaine Lamb Obituary
Born just after WWII, Robert Blaine Lamb spent his first years growing up in Colorado's high plains in the city of Burlington; his family eventually headed west into the mountains where, in Clear Creek County, he worked for the US Forest Service before graduating high school & joining the US Navy.
That tour of duty eventually led him to Chicago where he earned a Master Electrician license. With a lust for challenges, work naturally progressed in location and in size. From Colorado to California --and in places in between-- Robert started his career wiring private homes and small businesses; he ended having worked on colossal major structures throughout the Bay and Sacramento areas--where his crew affectionately referred to him as “Cowboy Bob.” (“Uncle Bob” by friends whose love and loyalty spanned into the sphere of family).
An avid lover of the wilderness he returned to the mountains of Colorado where he spent his last years basking in nature, where he died peacefully.
He survives through an abundance of memories shared between his family and good friends.
