She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Martha (Archuleta) and Juan Andres Martinez; her husband Frank Arthur Velarde; and her siblings, Juan Silvano, Frank Esias, Antonio Gilberto, Helen Mary Hurtado and Rachel Linda Cordova.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Velarde, Dana Velarde-Agee, Bill Velarde (Brenda), Jim Velarde (Dena) and Gerald Velarde (Amy). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and innumerable nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was always ready, willing and able to donate casseroles or whatever was needed to church events.
