He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bennett and Blanche Bennett; his stepfather Percy Dean, Sr.; his son Freddie Morris Bennett; his stepson James Lee Banks, Jr.; and his siblings, David, Thurman, Odis, Jean, Martha, Velma, Hazel, Belve, Flora and Sibree.
He is survived by: his wife Alberta Stevenson; his children, Mary Maxine Jones (Eddie), Linda Bennett-Stubbs of Conway, AR., Sharon Geneasse Bennett, Jacqueline Andringa (Mark) of Denver, CO., Loria Ann Bennett of Highlands Ranch, CO., Michael Dean Bennett of Denver, CO and Derrick Huhman (Angela) of Deer Trail, CO.; his brothers, Percy Dean, Jr (Ivoe) of Tulsa, OK and William Dean (Maria) of Denver, CO; and his stepchildren, Sharrel Steen-Banks of Austin, TX and Edward Lee Stevenson of Denver, CO.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
