She was predeceased by: her husband John Torres Sr; her children, Bob and Veronica; and her siblings, Nellie Garcia, Jesse Ortiz, Tom Ortiz, Frances Palomino, Diego Yepez and Joe Yepez.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Samora (Rich), John Torres Jr, Elvira Trujillo, Tom Torres (Floyd Valdez) and Matthew Torres (Robin); her nephews, Godchildren Chavez and Goddaughter Edwina Chavez; and her granddaughter Deanna Torres. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces.
