He is survived by: his wife Rosanna; his children, Troy (Alba), Veronica (Tom), Sonja Chavez and Jessica Vallejos; his grandchildren, Christopher, Cortney, Marcos, Diego, Alex, Arron, Viena and Troy; his siblings, Charlie Chavez of Vigil, CO, Gene Chavez (Elaine), Rosella Martinez, Geraldine Santistevan (Al) and Daisy Mae Asevedo (Gilbert); and his siblings-in-law, Mark Gonzales of Aurora, CO and Elizabeth Gonzales of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
