He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hight and Melissa Hight (Leuders); and his siblings, Phillip Coyote Sr., Roy Beecher Sr., Howard Hight, Sylvia Cuthair, Evelyn Hight, Mary Rose Hight, Sybil Light and Jennie Kuebler.
He is survived by: his son Jerome Istenes (Charinda) of Towaoc, CO; his sister Jane Lehi of Towaoc, CO; and his grandchildren, Nevaeh Istenes, Jaidein Istenes and Noah Istenes.
