He was predeceased by: his father Ernesto Cardenas; and his brother Ernest Cardenas, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Celia Cardenas (Garcia); his siblings, Adelfa Bauer, Lisa Nate, Delia Cardenas and Orlando; his wife Julie Cardenas; his children, Mark and Sara; and his grandchildren, Noah and Dani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew.
